Hadlow by Flexifoil introduces the MK II 2014 Wakestyle Board, designed by Aaron himself.
This board is Aaron’s personal board that he rides day in day out and after years of riding boots, the experience of many conditions around the world and trips to the factory to perfect the details he has developed something that is the best in it’s field.
Although you may think the board of a 5x World Champion cannot be right for you, the fact of the matter is anybody wanting to ride boots needs the board to perform in the same way, making the new wakestyle accessible and perfect for all.
With its smooth cut through chop, comfortable ride and fast aggressive performance, it’s a great ride for those looking to push themselves in wakestyle riding, rails and cable parks.
The wakestyle is aimed to meet a new standard in performance with a key list of features integrated together to perfection and intricate special designs, this really is the best performing board in it’s category.
Completely unique and perfected for maximize grip and optimize water flow. The wakestyle board’s base channel system, completely locks in whilst edging but gives a loose feel whilst flattening off for smooth handling. A deep and strong quad concave in the base of the board add overall speed and enhances grip along with specialized channels running along the heel and toe edge. The tips of the board have further channels that adds extra grip like small fins allowing for comfortable riding and the option to hit rails and not catch a fin whilst sliding. With the addition of the small fins that are included, the board locks in for the ultimate pop and all your wakestyle needs.
The 2014 MK II carries a strong rocker line that allows for better landing and handling, however, although there is a little more than the average kite board it is still less than conventional wakeboards, which are often too slow and hard to get plaining when using a kite. The rocker has been developed to find a perfect balance not only on the kite, but also for cable wakeboarding. Combined with the base channels you are left with fast board speed, quick plaining and a superb handling board that generates strong pop and locked in landings.
FLEX & CONSTRUCTION
The Wakestyle has a stiffer and thicker design than the conventional kiteboard. It has been optimized for bindings so it needs to offer strength across the deck. It’s thicker core gives it more volume for quicker plaining and a less sluggish feel. Also combined with an in built stiffening structure between the boots you will not get any unwanted flex in the center of the board. As the board tapers off towards the tips the flex increases allowing you to dig the tail in and create an explosive pop. The inserts have been reinforced with hard wood surrounds and toped with a carbon layer both above and beneath allowing it to cope with the forces that the bindings apply.
